Bubble Wrap

Bubble Wrap is AWESOME!  It makes a great toy, and it also really protects.  But just as Bubble Wrap protects, I believe that we wrap ourselves in bubble wrap to protect us in this cold harsh world.  We use bubble wrap to protect us from the things that have happened to us in the past.   By gulley,  We will never let that happen to us again.   And w wrap ourselves so tight, that we put on this façade that everything is great, when inside we are hurting, and falling apart.   

And we are protected, but that same bubble wrap traps us, incases us, and keeps us from the life that God designed for us.    Jesus said, “I have come so that you might have life, and live it to the fullest!”  We can’t life a full life, wrapped in bubble wrap. 

In 2012, God wants us to evaluate ourselves, and bust a few bubbles, so that we can find the true, fulfilling life that God has for us.

Sunday Starts the first Sunday of Advent.  Are you ready to make room for a miracle in your life and in your family?

THOUGHT:  I went to Wal-Mart last night on the Black Friday, Black Thrusday - whatever, seems to get earlier and earlier.  Could not find anything that I wanted, the tickets were all given out early.  I came home, and driving from the store - this is what I thought.

This is the sign of commericalism at it's bes.  Carts loaded to the brim with items, long lines, people wrestling and fighting for places in line, for the right item, at the right price.  And this came to mind.  Where is Jesus in all this.  Afterall, it is his birthday?
